A Young Professionals Group is not just an event series—it’s an investment in the future of our chamber and the local economy. If we don’t engage young professionals now, we risk losing them to other communities that do.
My “why” for creating the Cleveland County Young Professionals group is grounded in a deep commitment to build something that I wish had existed when I first started my career. I wanted to feel invested – in other people, in my community and in the bigger picture of what’s happening around me. I believe that Cleveland County has so much potential, but we have to be intentional about creating a place where young professionals and young families want to live, work and build their lives. This group is about more than events or networking – it’s about building a sense of community, giving people a place to belong and making sure that we all have a voice in shaping the future of where we call home.
